Interesting photo and it brings me a lot of feelings. I grew up in the city, so the haunts of my youth are still, for the most part, still there and maintained. I think of my friends who grew up in lonely, dead end towns. It reminds me of them.
I like the tints of blue and rust in the otherwise B&W scene. The rust gives a good sense of age and neglect and the blue a bit of melancholy.
I like the ending of the power line RIGHT THERE. This place truly is the end of the line.
At one time people tried to make it in this town and took the time and money to put in this playground to keep their kids busy. When the town dried up, they didn't even bother to take it down.
